Demystifying Pegging (FAQs)

I get a lot of questions about pegging, and sometimes due to the way in which they are asked, I am unable to answer them. I’m writing this article to summarize common FAQs in hopes of demystifying this super fun activity and making it more accessible to those who are interested!

1. How to inquire about pegging

Lots of Dommes enjoy Pegging, but not all of them. Instead of trying to gently hint at it, it's best to simply ask her if it's something that she enjoys.

Disclaimer: I do not offer pegging as a professional service (it is illegal to do in exchange for money), but it is an activity that I greatly enjoy in my personal life, and am very passionate about sharing education!

The most important thing here, whether you are discussing pegging with a Professional Domme or a Lifestyle Domme, is that it takes time to build trust. You’ll also want to have discussions around cleaning out, preparation, who’s buying the toys, where and when you’re getting together, and I recommend doing a few sessions first to get to know each other and build up some trust before exploring something as vulnerable and intimate as pegging.

2. Where to begin

Start small, and work your way up! Remember that the porn videos are professionals - and even they started small! Small plugs, tiny dildos, fingers, and dilator sets are a great place to start.

I actually find that using my fingers/hand is a great place to start. I have more control and can more easily massage the prostate, which will help my submissive relax more and be able to handle something larger vs. if he was alone at home, experimenting by just himself.

I know that a lot of people want the experience of the Domme wearing a strap on harness - it’s definitely a fun experience, but keep in mind that she will have more control by using her hand to either penetrate you with fingers, or simply holding the dildo vs. a strap.

3. Two Dommes are better than One

If someone is new to exploring pegging, I often find that bringing in a 2nd Domme makes the experience even more fun! If someone’s new, he’s likely to get nervous/get in his head - with 2 Dommes, I can be focused on the back while she can be focused on the front - Eiffel Tower, anybody? It can be tough to wrangle schedules, but I really recommend the double-Domme approach, especially if it’s your first time.

4. Don’t rush

A common mistake is to only plan 1 hour to explore an activity like this. You really need 2-3 hours. The biggest thing about pegging to be relaxed, and the last thing you want is to be rushing and feeling pressured to relax - see the conundrum there? Make sure you have plenty of time to warm up with other fun activities, and also have plenty of time at the end for aftercare, hydrating, etc.

5. Clean out/ preparation

There are a lot of different methods for this, and it could really be its own separate article. The biggest piece of advice is to make sure that whoever you’re playing with, that she either has experience or has done lots of research! Make sure that you and her are on the same page about which method you are using!

6. Questions? Just ask!

There are no stupid questions, especially on this topic! I also offer Zoom appointments if you’d like to chat in more depth about this topic, simply reach out via email to inquire (Info@RavensProductions.com). I really love pegging, and I hope that it becomes less stigmatized so that more people can enjoy it!
